Design Story
It began while providing design and printing services to architecture students at university using an older 3D printer. As requests for multicolour work grew, stocking dozens of filament colours became costly and inefficient. When the process reached the point of printing in one colour and painting each piece by hand, it became clear that the problem needed a fundamental engineering solution.
With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Beyza taught herself CATIA alongside an intensive course load to close the gap in mechanical design and began drawing DablSync's first body architecture. When she shared the idea with Sabri, her high-school friend and a Software Engineering student, the project's research and development process formally began.
As Beyza refined the hardware architecture in CATIA, Sabri began designing the system's software and control algorithms. DablSync was born as an engineering response to a real production constraint encountered in practice.
A constraint encountered in practice became an interdisciplinary engineering system.
